A web template is a ready-made website design created to use as a basis for fast and high-quality website development. Even though we offer custom designed websites, we believe in saving you money by choosing a template design to start and then customizing it vs. starting from scratch, which can lead to thousands of dollars in development work.

We train you how to maintain your own website using the powerful control panel that comes with your hosting. This way you avoid costly maintenance fees when all you need to do is make simple changes.

We want to make your website experience one that is fast and efficient without sacrificing quality and uniqeness. Everything you need is in your control panel and it is not hard to use once you get the hang of it.

Many of our clients come to us after trying to build a site themselves and need a solution to either fix what they have or start from scratch. No matter what problem you have, we most likely will be able to find a solution that gets you up and running with a professional looking website.

Determining the type of site you need.

Below is a simple explanation of basic website styles so you can determine which you need. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

1. Static: Presentation of information, e.g. a journal or blog. Basic static pages with information you provide. Basic, 'swap image' photo galleries can be applied to static pages if you need to showcase your work.
   
   
2. Flash: Annimation and/or video, e. g. and an advanced photo gallery with slide show presentation for showcasing a portfolio of your work. The templates to choose from vary from full flash sites to half static and half flash (header). Look for sites under Art & Photography for nice demonstrations of advanced photo galleries.
   
   
3. eCommerce Database: Product driven. If you sell products, you need a storefront. We recommend CRE Loaded or Magento. Each store comes with a front-end website and a back-end control or administration panel where you manage your own content, newsletters, customers, billing,etc.
   
   
4. CMS Database or content management, e.g. churches that want to collect member information for newsletters. We recommend Joomla templates if you are not selling products but want to capture customer information or present data. Note that Joomla also offers many different add-ons that will turn any template into an eCommerce storefront. CRE Loaded and Magento are specifically designed for eCommerce and have a storefront built into them.
   
   
5. Custom: We also offer custom website development starting at $100/page for a basic static website. The advantage of starting with a template is you have more pages for the dollar. A template might come with 10 pages for $65.00 where if you created a custom site it would be $1000.00.

We recommend choosing a template with the pages pre-built and then we customize it for you with your images and content. This way, you are not limited to the number of pages. Templates can be so fully customized that you would not recognize them as being templates.
